Dorian Electra Fridkin Gomberg, born on June 25,â¯1992, in Houston, Texas, is an American singerâsongwriter whose work blends electronic dance music with theatrical pop. Dorian Electra first attracted attention in 2010 with the viral video "I'm in Love with Friedrich Hayek", and later released the single "Control" in 2017, which highlighted feminist themes. In 2019 Dorian Electra selfâreleased his debut album Flamboyant, followed by the second studio album My Agenda, issued on October 16, 2020. The project featured collaborations with Rebeccaâ¯Black, Farisâ¯Badwan, Pussyâ¯Riot, and Dylanâ¯Brady, and included singles such as "Gentleman" and "M'Lady". Dorian Electra toured the United States under the Flamboyant: Chapter I and Chapter II legs, though the latter was curtailed by the COVIDâ19 pandemic. Subsequent releases include Fanfare, released on October⯠6, 2023, and the 2023 single "Freak Mode".
