Biography

Daphne's Flight was a British musical group formed in 1995 by Christine Collister, Melanie Harrold, Julie Matthews, Helen Watson, and Chris While. They debuted at the 1995 Cambridge Folk Festival and recorded their self-titled album Daphneâs Flight in January 1996, which garnered positive reviews. The group disbanded shortly after but reunited in 2017 for the studio album Knows Time, Knows Change. Christine Collister left in 2022, with Miranda Sykes joining as her replacement. In 2023, the band released Love is the Weapon of Choice, followed by Favourable Light in 2025.
