Biography

Danny Bryant, born on July 26, 1980, in Royston, Hertfordshire, England, is an English blues musician known for his dynamic guitar playing. He began playing the guitar at age 10 and turned professional at 18. Early in his career, Danny Bryant formed the band RedEyeBand with his father Ken Bryant on bass and Trevor Barr on drums. The trio toured extensively until Ken Bryant retired in July 2013. Following this, the band continued under Danny Bryant's name. In 2011, Danny Bryant signed with Jazzhaus Records and released his first live DVD/CD Night Life – Live in Holland. His subsequent studio albums, including Hurricane (2013), Temperature Rising (2014), and Blood Money (2016), received critical acclaim. The following year, Danny Bryant expanded his discography with the big-band live project Big Live in Europe (2017), and later albums Revelation (2018), Means of Escape (2019), The Rage to Survive (2021) and Rise (2023); in 2025 he added the single “Tougher Now,” the first single off of Nothing Left Behind, released on January 23, 2026.
