Biography

Damnation A.D., originally formed in 1992 as Damnation in Washington, D.C., began as a studio project featuring Ken Olden on drums and guitar, and Mike "DC" McTernan on vocals. Their debut album No More Dreams of Happy Endings was released in 1995 under Jade Tree Records. The band toured extensively with notable acts like Ignite and Earth Crisis. In 1996, they released the EP Misericordia. After signing to Revelation Records, Damnation A.D. released their second full-length album, Kingdom of Lost Souls, in 1998. The band disbanded shortly after. In 2005, McTernan and Olden reunited to record In This Life or the Next (2007), featuring guest musicians from Give Up the Ghost, Darkest Hour, Earth Crisis, and Fall Out Boy. Their fourth album, Pornography, a cover of The Cure’s album, was released in 2017.
