Damiera was an American four-piece indie math rock band from Buffalo, New York. Formed in February 2005 by David Raymond and Matthew Kipp after the disbandment of their previous project, League. After a short time, the two invited Bradley McRae to join the lineup, and bassist Mark Henry joined soon afterward. The group released their debut EP, Damiera EP, later that year and embarked on a two-month tour. After Kipp's departure following the tour, Rock Whittington briefly joined for rehearsals before Jayson Dezuzio (Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance) recorded their debut LP M(US)IC, released in 2006 under Tamerlane Recordings and re-released by Equal Vision Records in 2007. Damiera reformed with new members Steve Downs, Josh Sparks, and Jayson Dezuzio, releasing QuietMouthLoudHands in 2008 through Equal Vision Records. After further lineup changes, the band toured in 2009 before disbanding in the same year.
