German singer Daffi Cramer, born Angelika Ramme in 1954, began her musical career in 1972 with a cover of Little Eva's hit "The Loco-Motion". Working with producer Tony Hendrik, she released her first single "Locomotion" backed with "Party-Boy" on Ariola. Cramer gained significant attention with the release of "Charly, lass dir einen Bart steh'n", a composition by Günther Behrle and John Kongos produced by Fritz Muschler in 1976. The song peaked at Number 27 on the German charts and remained there for nine weeks. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Cramer released numerous singles, including "Fische Wollen Schwimmen", "Einmal Wird Einer Kommen", and "Angelo". She also collaborated with Henry Valentino on duets such as "Ich steh' im Halteverbot" in 1979. In the 2000s, Cramer re-recorded "Im Wagen vor mir" with Valentino, originally recorded by Uschi in 1977. Her only album, Zu Zweit Macht's Mehr SpaÃ, was released in 1995. Cramer's work has been featured on various compilations, including 2013's Mein Hitparaden-Buch 1975-1979, highlighting her enduring impact on German pop music.
