Cwfen are a Glasgow-based doomgaze/goth-rock band who blends the heavy, melancholic tones of doom metal with the ethereal, atmospheric qualities of shoegaze. With their sonic landscapes of dense, sludgy riffs, haunting melodies, and introspective lyrics, Cwfen have emerged as one of the most exciting and genre-defying acts in the underground music scene. The band consists of Agnes Alder (vocals, guitar, production), Mary Thomas Baker (bass, production), Guy deNuit (guitar, production), and Rös Ranquinn (drums, production), each bringing their unique influences and creative vision to the collective sound. After releasing their debut single "Reliks" in 2024, they consolidated their sound on their debut album Sorrows (2025).
