Biography

Currents, a metalcore band from the United States of America, was formed in 2011. Following the releases of Life // Lost (2015) and The Place I Feel Safest (2017), the group gained traction with their third album The Way It Ends, released on June 5, 2020. This release marked a significant milestone in their career, establishing them within the metal music scene. Following this, Currents continued to build their discography with the release of The Death We Seek on May 5, 2023. Throughout their career, Currents maintained a strong presence in the metalcore genre, known for their intense and powerful performances. In 2025, they released the EP All That Follows.
