Curly Strings, an Estonian folk band, was established in 2013. The group consists of Eeva Talsi on fiddle and lead vocals, Taavet Niller on upright bass and vocals, Peeter Hirtentreu on guitar and vocals, and Villu Talsi on mandolin. Their debut album Ãle ilma was released in 2014. In June 2015, they followed up with the EP Elumäng. The band's subsequent albums include Hoolima (2017), Pidu meis eneses (2021), and Rahu meis eneses (2021). Curly Strings has garnered several accolades, including Album of the Year in 2015, Band of the Year in 2015, Best New Folk Artist in both 2017 and 2015, and European Bluegrass Band at the European World of Bluegrass Awards in 2016.
