Biography
Cult Leader, an American hardcore punk band, was formed in Salt Lake City, Utah in May 2013. The group consisted of Casey Hansen, Anthony Lucero, Michael "Mike" Mason, and Sam Richards. Following the breakup of Gaza, a previous band that included three members of Cult Leader, the new band signed to Jacob Bannon's record label Deathwish Inc. Their debut EP Nothing for Us Here was released on April 15, 2014, followed by their first full-length album Lightless Walk on October 16, 2015. The band's second studio album, A Patient Man, was released on November 9, 2018. Cult Leader is known for their brutal sound with prominent elements of extreme metal, and have toured extensively across North America in support of their releases.
