Biography

NORA, an American metalcore band from Highland Park, New Jersey, was formed in 1996. The group took its name from Nora Diniro, a character from the film Pump Up the Volume. Their first release was the EP Kill You for a Dollar, followed by a split CD-EP with The Dillinger Escape Plan on Ferret Records. In 1999, they moved to Trustkill Records and released another EP, Theneverendingyouline. The band's album, Loser's Intuition, was released in 2001. After several lineup changes, including the addition of bassist Tim Cuccolo and guitarist Steve "Jeff" Chladnicek, they released Dreamers & Deadmen in 2003. Their album, Save Yourself, was recorded and released in early 2007 before the band went dormant until 2015.
