Biography
Cry for Silence was a British heavy metal band formed in 1999 by guitarist Alessandro Venturella. The group released their first EP, Through the Precious Words, in 2001, followed by EP in 2002 and The Longest Day in 2004. Cry for Silence toured extensively with notable acts including The Black Dahlia Murder, My Chemical Romance, and Sepultura. They also performed at major festivals like Give it a Name 2007 and Download Festival 2008. In 2008, they released their debut album, The Glorious Dead. Following the band's disbandment in 2008, members went on to pursue various projects, such as Andy C. Saxton joining First Signs of Forest and Steve Sears forming Gold Key.
