Biography

Crooked Colours is an Australian alternative dance music group from Fremantle, Western Australia. The project was conceived by Philip Leonard Slabber and Leon Debaughn, with Liam Merrett-Park joining later as the drummer. Their first EP, In Your Bones, was released in 2014, followed by their debut album, Vera, in 2017 under the Sweat It Out label. The group's second album, Langata, was released in 2019. Crooked Colours gained significant recognition through their performances at major festivals such as Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass, and Bonnaroo. Their notable singles include "Flow" (2017), "Do it Like You" (2018), and "Holiday" (2022). The group achieved multiple ARIA certifications for their work, including Platinum and Gold.
