Biography

Marcus Klein, known professionally as Cosmo Klein, was born on November 1, 1978, in Lippstadt, Nordrhein-Westfalen. He is a German musician and singer known for his work in electronic and pop music. He began his career with the release of his debut album This Is My Time in 2003, which included the singles "All I Ever Need" and "Baby Don’t Cry". Klein’s breakthrough came in July 2005 with the release of "Das Alles Ändert Nichts Daran", a duet with Berlin-based singer Maya Saban that reached the top 20 of the German singles chart. His second album Human and the single "Nothing to Lose" followed in 2006. Throughout his career, Klein has collaborated with various artists and producers, including Keemo and Tim Royko on "Beautiful Lie", which became a Number 1 hit in Portugal in 2011. His work has appeared on labels such as Ultra Music, Armada Music, Kontor Records, and his own label Cosmopolytix. Klein has also contributed vocals to various electronic projects and soundtracks, including Disney’s Himmel und Huhn. He is a member of the musical collective Phunkguerilla and has written songs for other artists, including "This Is My Time" for Sasha.
