Biography

Cooler Kids was an American pop and house group from Brooklyn formed in 2002. The trio consisted of producer Kaz Gamble, vocalist Sisely Treasure, and Jill Cunniff, formerly of Luscious Jackson. Their collaboration originated from an email exchange between Treasure and Gamble, which led to their signing with DreamWorks Records. The group released their only studio album, Punk Debutante (2003). Their single, “All Around the World,” charted on the Billboard Dance Club Play chart and was featured in The Lizzie McGuire Movie. The group dissolved in 2005 when boygirl_ was formed as a side project. The project continued until 2008, when Treasure left to become the lead singer of the rock band Shiny Toy Guns.
