Biography
An all-female metal band, Conquer Divide began life in 2012 with vocalists Kristen Sturgis and Kiarely Castillo as the sole original members after several changes of musicians over the years. Hailing from Rochester Hills, Michigan, the band completed by Serbian drummer Tamara Tadic, bassist Janel Duarte and guitarist Isabel Johnson recorded a homonymous debut album released in 2015 by specialist label Artery Records, before splitting up in 2018. Returning in 2020, Kristen Sturgis, Kiarely Castillo, Isabel Johnson and Janel Duarte then welcomed drummer Samantha Landra and produced a series of singles until the back-to-back releases in 2023 of the EP New Heaven and the album Slow Burn, including a new version of the track "Paralyzed " with the band Attack Attack!
