Coney Hatch, a Canadian hard rock band formed in Toronto in 1981, consisted of Andy Curran on bass and vocals, Ed Godlewski on guitar, and Dave "Thumper" Ketchum on drums. The band's breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1982, which included the hit single "Hey Operator". The following year, they released Outa Hand, produced by Max Norman. In 1985, after Ketchum left and was replaced by Barry Conners, Coney Hatch released their third album, Friction. The band toured extensively with acts like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, but temporarily disbanded in 1986. They reunited in 2010 and released their fourth album, Four, in 2013.
