Biography
Comité Cisne was a Valencian rock band formed in 1984 in Valencia. The group emerged from the fusion of two prominent Valencian pop bands, Garage and Glamour, led by Carlos Goñi. Their debut maxi-single "Dulces horas" was released by EMI in 1985, followed by their first album, Comité Cisne, released by DRO in 1986. In 1987, they signed with Intermitente and released El final del mar, which included the notable track "Ana Frank". The following year, they recorded Beber el viento in Norwich, England. Internal conflicts led to Carlos Goñi's departure in 1988, who then formed Revólver with Rafael Picó. They continued with new members and released Instinto in 1990 before disbanding the following year. In 2002, Carlos Goñi remastered and re-released three of their albums, such as El final del mar, Tres canciones de Lou Reed, and Beber el viento.
