Biography

Colonel Mustard & the Dijon Five is a Scottish band formed in 2013 in Glasgow, blending funk, jazz, soul and pop with festive energy and retro-modern style. Made up of experienced musicians, the band draws its influences from the sounds of the 1960s and 1970s while adding a contemporary twist. Their music is characterized by powerful horns, driving grooves and dynamic stage performances, which have earned them rapid recognition on the UK and international scene. Since forming, they have released several albums and EPs, including Sounds Like Funk (2015) and Let's Do It (2018), and have shared the stage with the likes of Gregory Porter, The Haggis Horns and The Brand New Heavies.
