Biography
Manuel Liniger, known professionally as Manillio, was born on May 14, 1987, in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. He began his career in 2005 as both a producer and rapper. In 2006, he won a rap competition by Stress' group Double Pact, leading to a feature on their Best-of-Album. Manillio gained recognition with the Jurassic Parts mixtape series starting in 2006. His first solo album, Jede Tag Superstar, was released in 2009. In 2013, his second album Irgendwo debuted at Number six on the Swiss Album Charts. Manillio's third album, Kryptonit, reached Number one on the Swiss Album Charts in 2016 and included the hit single "Monbijou." He won his first Swiss Energy Music Award in November 2016.
