Biography

Close II You was a Dutch girl group formed in 1996 by producers Eeg van Kruysdijk and Ed van Otterdijk in the Netherlands, comprising Natascha Scheffers, Sascha Koninkx, Nadja Nooijen, Arlice Beeldsnijder, and Marsha van de Berg. The group entered the market with the single "Nice & Nasty" in 1996, followed by the 1997 hit "Baby Don’t Go", which reached the top ten of the Dutch Top 40. In 1998 they released their debut studio album Closer. After lineup changes and additional releases with limited commercial impact, the group disbanded in 2001. They reformed in 2011, issuing the holiday album All I Want For Christmas later that year, but the reunion lasted only until 2013. Throughout their career, Close II You were active within the Dutch pop music scene during the late-1990s girl-group era.
