Clay Street Unit is a Denver-based American roots sextet known for its vibrant blend of bluegrass, folk, country, and Americana. Formed in 2021, the bandâs lineup includes Sam Walker (lead vocals/guitar), Scottie Bolin (mandolin), Jack Cline (banjo), Brad Larrison (pedal steel), Brendan Lamb (drums), and Jack Kotarba (bass). After building a grassroots following through relentless touring and their 2022 EP A Mighty Fine Evening, the group released their debut full-length album, Sin & Squalor, on February 13, 2026, via indie label Leo33. Produced by Chris Pandolfi of The Infamous Stringdusters, the record captures the bandâs dynamic live spirit and honest songwriting, balancing themes of joy, longing, and resilience. Clay Street Unit continues expanding their audience with performances at iconic stages like the Grand Ole Opry.
