Biography
City Calm Down, an Australian musical group from Melbourne, was formed in 2008. The band consists of Jack Bourke on vocals, Sam Mullaly on synths/keys, Jeremy Sonnenberg on bass, and Lee Armstrong on drums/percussion. Their debut EP Movements was released in November 2012. City Calm Down's breakthrough came with their first full-length album In a Restless House, which debuted at number 25 on the ARIA Charts in 2015. The single "Rabbit Run" from this album reached 137th place on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2015. Signed with Melbourne-based record label I Oh You, City Calm Down performed at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass and Laneway. Their second album Echoes in Blue, released in April 2018, debuted at number 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Following their third album Television in August 2019, City Calm Down announced an indefinite hiatus.
