Biography

Circulatory System was an American psychedelic rock ensemble formed in 2000 by Will Cullen Hart, who was also a member of the Elephant Six Collective and Olivia Tremor Control. After the disbandment of Olivia Tremor Control, Hart along with Derek Almstead, Suzanne Allison, Peter Erchick, John Fernandes, Charlie Johnston, and Heather McIntosh formed Circulatory System. Their debut album Circulatory System was released in 2001, followed by Inside Views. Notable collaborations included contributions from Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum on their albums. In 2009, they released Signal Morning and Mosaics within Mosaics in 2014. Circulatory System also contributed the track "Deserts (As Big as a Star)" to the benefit album The Amos House Collection Volume III. Will Cullen Hart passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 53.
