Cimberly-Malaika Tiffany Wanyonyi, mononymously known as Cimberly, born 14â¯Januaryâ¯2005 in SkellefteÃ¥, Västerbotten County, Sweden, is a Swedish singer who emerged from a multicultural background of Finnish and Kenyan heritage. After a nearâmissed audition for the Swedish talent show Idol due to a family car breakdown, she entered the competition in 2023 and advanced to the finals held on 24â¯Novemberâ¯2023 at Avicii Arena; she defeated Saga Ludvigsson to win the title on 1â¯Decemberâ¯2023, earning the release of her winning single "Won't Be Sorry". The victory secured her a recording contract and a spot in Melodifestivalenâ¯2026, where she performed "Eternity" in the fourth heat, qualified for the final, and placed sixth.
