Biography
Swedish-born producer Christian Smith has been influencing the techno scene since the 2000s with his groovy techno sound. Raised in Frankfurt, Germany, he studied in the USA and then moved to São Paulo, Brazil, where he made a name for himself in local clubs. In 1995, he founded Tronic, a label that has since dominated the techno charts with releases from artists such as ANNA and Carl Cox. Tronic's success extends to its weekly radio show, which will exceed 600 episodes. Christian Smith's tracks regularly top the Beatport charts. He organizes successful events all over the world, including a residency in Ibiza.
