Biography
Leading French exponents of the hardcore electro movement, the duo Micropoint have been around since 1992. Micropoint was born in the effervescence of the rave movement and oriented itself towards hardcore techno and its sounds bordering on the industrial. Neurophonie in 1999 sold some thirty thousand copies, a more than decent figure for an extreme niche. Anesthésie International followed in 2000, before Micropoint temporarily split up. The double album Remontées in 2005 delivers public recordings and previously unreleased material only available on vinyl. Micropoint delighted fans of the genre by returning in 2008 with Overdose United. A new dose of hardcore is delivered in 2011 with Exit Mankind.
