Biography
Mainstreet, a Dutch boy band consisting of Nils Käller, Daan Zwierink, Owen Playfair, and Rein van Duivenboden, was formed in 2011 after auditioning for The Voice Kids. They gained attention by participating in Junior Songfestival 2012 with their song "Stop the Time", which reached the Top 100 Charts. In 2013, Mainstreet signed a record deal with New Skool Records and released their album, Breaking the Rules, which topped the album charts. Notable singles include "Mind is Blown" and "The World is Mine". They performed for Justin Bieber's Believe Tour and had their song "My Main Girl" added to the video game Just Dance 2014. In 2014, they released their second album, Runaway, which entered the album charts at number 3. The band became ambassadeurs of freedom in 2015. Their final single, #PLAY, was released in 2015.
