Santiago Moreno Charpentier, born on September 23, 1981, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a singer and songwriter who first gained prominence as the frontman of Tan Biónica. After forming the band with his brother Bambi in the early 2000s, he contributed as lead vocalist and principal composer, achieving national success with singles such as "Obsesionario" and "Ciudad Mágica". The group released four studio albums-Canciones del Huracán (2007), Obsesionario (2010), DestinologÃa (2013), and Hola Mundo (2015)-each attaining platinum status and earning awards including two Carlos Gardel prizes in 2012 and a nomination for the Latin Grammy. Following Tan Biónicaâs hiatus in 2016, Santiago Moreno Charpentier embarked on a solo career, signing with Universal Music Argentina. His debut solo album, El otro (2018), featured the single "Yueves" and was followed by El doble (2019) and El Camino (2022), the latter compiling singles such as "Mecha" and "Quarentina". His work has charted in Argentina and across Latin America, and he has collaborated with artists like Renzo Luca and Luck Ra. In 2023, he returned to stadium scale when Tan Biónica reunited publicly, turning the âLa Ãltima Noche Mágicaâ concept into a major tour with sold-out shows and a flagship River Plate concert that fed a live release cycle; by 2024 the comeback continued with high-profile live drops such as âArruinarseâ (with Airbag) and new solo-side collaborations including âEXOTICâ (with Tony G) and âDe Abajo Para Arribaâ (with Un Verano), alongside features like âNada Naceâ with Cruzando El Charco. In 2025, Tan Biónica extended the reunion into new studio material with El regreso, a full-length that paired Chanoâs writing with guest spots from Patricio Sardelli (Airbag), Andrés Calamaro, and Nicki Nicole.
