Chalie Boy is an American rapper and songwriter born as Charles Williams on October 13, 1979. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by hip hop and R&B and for his breakout single âI Look Goodâ (2009). Chalie Boy achieved professional recognition for a career that began as a child in a church choir and his 2000 rapping debut with the ensemble Freestyle Kingz. His recording career included the studio recording Off Tha Chain (2002) which sold over 40,000 copies independently and featured the single âCandyâ featuring the musician Slim Thug. Chalie Boy achieved professional recognition for signing with the label Battery Records and the label Jive Records in 2009 after his breakout single achieved nationwide airplay. His discography included the single âI Look Goodâ which debuted at number 10 on the video countdown for the television program 106 & Park and reached number 4. Chalie Boy achieved professional recognition for releasing the studio recording Iâm Here (2009) and the studio recording The Grind Pays Off (2010).
