Lee Chae‑ryeong, known mononymously as Chaeryeong, was born on June 5 2001 in Yongin, Republic of Korea, and is a singer, rapper, and main dancer for the K‑pop group Itzy. After appearing as a contestant on K‑pop Star in 2013 and training under JYP Entertainment, she debuted with Itzy in February 2019, releasing the single album It'z Different and the lead single "Dalla Dalla". Since then, Chaeryeong has contributed to Itzy’s successive releases, including "Icy", "Not Shy", and "Untouchable", and has appeared on collaborations such as Lee Chan‑hyuk’s "Doremifasolatido" in June 2023. Her solo track "Mine" from the EP Born to Be entered the Circle Download Chart at Number 51. Chaeryeong’s performances on television, fashion features in Marie Claire Korea and Elle Korea, and her 2025 donation of ₩20 million for wildfire relief highlight her active career and social engagement. The track "Midnight Glow" on the soundtrack for the series No tail to tell, topped Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart on its release day of January 30, 2026.
