Celvin Rotane, real name Mike van der Viven, is a German house DJ and producer. His music moves between house, techno and club sound. He is considered part of the German dance and rave phase of the 1990s. Mike van der Viven has been active as a DJ and producer since 1986. In the 1990s, he became more prominent under the name Celvin Rotane. In 1995, he released the single "I Believe" with Ramon Zenker. The track became an international club hit. The song reached number 16 in Germany and remained in the charts there for 15 weeks. In the same year, the single "Push Me To The Limit" was released together with the US singer Frankie McCoy. The compilation album The Single Collection follows in 1996. The double A-single "Back Again / Theme From Magnum" was released in 1997. The song is based on a reinterpretation of the TV series music of the same name. Further releases such as "Bienvenue" follow in the same year. 1999 sees the release of "Houze Muzique". B2W - Backs II The Wall" with Dweed followed in 2003.
