Lazyboy, a musical project initiated by Søren Nystrøm Rasted, was born in Denmark. Søren Rasted is known for being a member of Aqua and later adopted the alias Lazy B in the UK. The project is characterized by its unique blend of spoken word trivia, self-help advice, street voices, and societal criticism set to hip-hop beats, a style coined "Rhythm'n'Speak" by its creators. Lazyboy TV, Lazyboy's debut album, was released on November 2004 under Universal Records. The project gained initial traction with the video for "Facts of Life" and the single release of "Underwear Goes Inside the Pants", which featured Greg Giraldo, charting at Number 5 in Australia. However, subsequent releases such as the second single "Inhale Positivity" and the album Lazyboy TV did not achieve significant international chart success. In 2006, the project was rebranded as LazyB for its UK release. The project also ventured into other artistic domains, including a commissioned piece for the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen in March 2007. On December 5, 2012, LazyB released "2012 - Shift happens", featuring Lene Nystrøm on vocals and David Bateson on spoken word, with a music video directed by Alan Smithee.
