Catleya was a French rock ensemble from Paris established in 2002. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by rock and for a name derived from the works of the writer Marcel Proust. The ensemble was founded in September 2002 by the vocalist Syrile and the musician Philippe Faro. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Rien ne presse (2007) released on the label RCA Records. Catleya achieved professional recognition for the single "Rien ne presse" (2007) and the studio recording Bang Bang, Baby (2008). Their discography included the studio recording Catleya 2 (2010) which featured the single "Les géants" (2010). The group became inactive in 2011.
