Robert Cary Brothers was born on April 2, 1974, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is an American indie rock singer-songwriter who gained national attention with the song âBlue Eyesâ (2004) from the Garden State soundtrack. Independent EPs include All the Rage (2004) and Waiting for Your Letter (2005), both of which reached the top of the iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts. His debut full-length album, Who You Are (2007), appeared on the Bluhammock Music label. Brothers collaborated with Tiësto on a remix of âRideâ (2008) and provided an original track, âHere on Earthâ (2009), for the album Kaleidoscope. He has toured with acts including Greg Laswell and Sara Bareilles. His music has appeared in films and television programs including Grey's Anatomy and Easy A (2010). Discography releases include the albums Under Control (2010) and Bruises (2018).
