Biography
Carbonized were a Swedish avant-garde metal ensemble from Saltsjöbaden active between 1988 and 1996. The ensemble was established by Lars Rosenberg and Matti Kärki and later included Piotr Wawrzeniuk and Christofer Johnsson. Their recording career began with the track âNo Canonizationâ (1990). Their discography includes the debut studio recording For the Security (1991) and the studio recording Disharmonization (1993), the latter of which was recognized by Loudwire as one of the ten wackiest progressive metal albums (2024). The ensemble recorded the studio recording Screaming Machines (1996) in 1994 before becoming inactive.
