Biography

Candy Six is a German pop music project formed in 2010 by Playmates Mia Gray and her cousin Nicole Belke. They recorded demo tracks in a studio near Stuttgart and chose their name from a Playboy photo shoot titled "Candy" where the sixth image was labeled "Candy 6". They released their debut single, “Boys, Boys, Boys” (2010), which featured former boxer René Weller in the music video. Following television appearances on the Oliver Pocher Show and Big Brother, they performed a nationwide club tour. Belke departed them in 2011 for private reasons, leading Gray to recruit singer Patricia Banks. Their first collaboration was the single “Life Is Rich” (2012), which they performed at the NRJ Music Tour. Banks left them in 2013 due to time constraints, and Gray resumed the project with guest musicians. They issued the singles “Close Your Eyes” (2012) and “Paradise” (2014), the latter featuring Oliver Kobs.
