Cabruêra, a Brazilian musical group, was formed in 1998 in Campina Grande by students of the Federal University of ParaÃba. The band blended traditional Brazilian music styles such as forró, baião, samba, and maracatu with elements of funk, ska, and rap, aligning with the mangue beat style. Following this success, they relocated to Rio de Janeiro and embarked on extensive tours across Brazil and Europe, performing at notable events like the Roskilde Festival and Popkomm.
