Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton was born on August 21, 1990 in the town of Bangangté in western Cameroon. Inspired by acting and humor, he gradually became a nationally-renowned comedian, with numerous appearances in TV and online series. Renowned for his self-mockery, he achieved a high level of notoriety, which he put to good use when he decided to launch his musical career. Renamed Cabrel Nanjip, he unveiled "C'est grave ici" in 2021, featuring Papy 2PP, then a few months later "Suis pas maudit" with the Kankan Boys. His music is linked to the mbolé wave, a style of music traditionally played at funeral wakes and recovered by young Cameroonians in the 2010s with the help of production software. Continuing with a new track in 2023, "Tu étais là " with Cegui, Cabrel Nanjip died tragically shortly afterwards, on June 15, 2023 at Ãdéa hospital, succumbing to a car accident and causing a nationwide stir.
