Biography
The house music duo BUNT. was formed in Stuttgart, Germany, by producers Levi Wijk and Nico Crispin. After bonding over their mutual love of electronic music acts such as Avicii, Justice, and Swedish House Mafia, the two started collaborating while still in college and released their debut single "Journey" in 2014. Over the next few years, they began developing a style self-described as "electronic folk music," a vibrant blend of EDM and folk house that reached its maximum expression on the 2016 tracks "Old Guitar" and "Young Hearts," both issued via Interscope Records. BUNT. are also known for their remixes, having remixed songs for the likes of OneRepublic, Mumford & Sons, and Sandro Cavazza. In 2021, Nico Crispin decided to quit the group, leaving Levi Wijk as the sole creative force behind the project. Folktales, BUNT.'s first full-length album, appeared in 2022 and featured cameos by Alexander Tidebrink, BEGINNERS, and Sons of the East, among others. In 2023, the single "Clouds" climbed to Number 15 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, becoming one of the biggest hits in the group's career.
