Bullet is a Swedish heavy metal and hard rock band formed in the fall of 2001 in Växjö, Sweden. The band was formed from the joint idea of Hampus Klang and Dag "Hell" Hofer to play traditional heavy metal from the late 1970s and early 1980s - authentic, solid and confident. The band members are Dag Hofer (vocals), Hampus Klang (guitar), Gustav Hjortsjö (drums), Gustav Hector (bass) and, for some years now, Freddie Johansson (guitar). Previously, Alexander Lyrbo, Erik Almström and Adam Hector were also part of the line-up at times. Early demos such as Heavy Metal Highway (2002) and the EP Speeding In The Night (2003) were followed in 2006 by the debut album Heading For The Top (Black Lodge), which reached number 37 in the Swedish album charts and rose to number 2 in the metal charts. This was followed by Bite The Bullet (2008) and Highway Pirates (2011) as well as Full Pull (2012) and Storm Of Blades (2014). 2018 sees the release of Dust To Gold, which continues the Swedes' classic heavy metal sound. In 2019, the band released Live, a concert album, before the next studio work went quiet for a while longer. After a seven-year break, Bullet released a new album on January 9, 2026 with Kickstarter, the title track of which was released as a single in advance. This will be followed by further singles such as "Keep Rolling" and "Chained By Metal". Bullet's music is strongly oriented towards classic heavy metal and hard rock, with influences from bands such as AC/DC, Judas Priest and Accept.
