Built By Snow is an American rock band formed in 2006 and based in Austin, Texas. The group initially met while working together at a television station and gained traction after winning a Battle of the Bands competition. They used the prize money to record their debut EP NOISE, released in 2007, which featured seven powerpop tracks. In 2009, Built By Snow released their mini-full-length album MEGA. The band performed at notable music festivals including South by Southwest (SXSW) and North by North East (NXNE).
