Buddahead, an American indie rock band based in New York City, was formed and led by Iranian-born vocalist and songwriter Raman Kia. Kia spent his early years in war-torn Iran during the 1980s before moving to England with his mother. The band's lineup included Simon Gibson on lead guitars, Toby Evers on bass guitar, Rich Scannella on drums, and later Bryan Smith on keyboards. Buddahead performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in 2003 and released their debut album Crossing the Invisible Line in May 2004, featuring notable songs such as "When I Fall" and "Invisible".
