Biography
Brokencyde is an American crunkcore ensemble formed in 2006 in Albuquerque. The group was established by vocalists Mikl and Se7en, with members Phat J and Antz joining after the band began online promotion. The ensemble released the mixtapes The Broken! (2007) and Tha $c3ne Mixtape (2008). In 2008, the band signed with Suburban Noize Records and released the EP BC13. Its debut studio recording, I'm Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!, appeared in 2009 and reached number 86 on the Billboard 200. The group performed the single âFreaXXXâ on Total Request Live and appeared on the Warped Tour 2009. Subsequent albums included Will Never Die (2010) and Guilty Pleasure (2011). Following the departure of Phat J in 2012 and Antz in 2014, the ensemble released the recordings All Grown Up (2016) and 0 to Brokencyde (2018). Phat J returned to the lineup in 2022.
