Blood on the Dance Floor, an American electronic and crunkcore group, was formed in Orlando, Florida, in 2006. The band consisted of Dahvie Vanity and Garrett Ecstasy, who began recording songs independently before releasing their debut album Letâs Start a Riot in 2008. Jayy Von Monroe replaced Ecstasy in 2009 and contributed to subsequent albums, including Epic (2010), Evolution (2012), and Bad Blood (2013). Notable singles include "Sexting" (2009) and "I Refuse to Sink (Fuck the Fame!)" (2013). The band embarked on several tours, including The Bad Blood Tour - Revenge Will Have Its Dates in 2013. After a hiatus for solo projects, Blood on the Dance Floor returned with Cruel Pornography (2015) and announced plans for future releases. In April 2017, Dahvie Vanity confirmed the continuation of Blood on the Dance Floor with new member Fallon. The band released several albums, such as Kawaii Monster (2017), Cinema Erotica (2018), and Hollywood Death Star (2019).
