Biography

Brieg Guerveno is a Breton singer-songwriter born in Saint-Brieuc on January 5, 1982, who blends progressive rock, folk and metal influences in music sung exclusively in Breton. His universe is marked by dark, melancholy atmospheres, inspired by both traditional gwerzioù and bands like Ulver and Sigur Rós. Since his solo debut in 2006, he has released several albums, including Nozioù / Deioù (2011), Ar Bed Kloz (2014), 'vel ma vin (2020) and Un Noz a Vo (2025). He has performed at numerous European festivals, including Ireland's Pan Celtic Festival and, in France, the Transmusicales and Motocultor festivals, affirming an artistic approach deeply rooted in the Breton language and culture.
