Trygve Thue, born on June 21, 1950, in Bergen, Norway, was a guitarist and music producer. He received his first musical accolades at age eight with "Freeze on His Back" in the boys choir Folkeskolens Guttekor. Thue began his professional career as an original member of the Norwegian band Saft, releasing their self-titled debut album Saft in 1971. He later ran Bergen Lydstudio from 1976 onwards, producing records for notable artists such as Bjørn EidsvÃ¥g and Jan Eggum. Thue's solo career included the release of Jeg â En Beach Boy in 1994. Throughout his career, he produced over 200 albums, including Live in Bergen 1978. Trygve Thue passed away on April 14, 2022.
