Oddvar Torsheim, born on November 2, 1938, in Bergen, Norway, was a Norwegian painter and singer. The son of teachers Herman Johan Torsheim and Jenny Pauline Høvik, Torsheim began his music career with the release of the album Nynorskens Skog in 1992. He followed this with another album, Tur-Retur Blues, in 2000. In addition to his musical endeavors, Torsheim was also a prolific illustrator and author, contributing to various publications including Cindy Haug's children's book Her der â helt nær from 1983 and Ingvar Moe's essay collection FrÃ¥ oppvaskkummen. His artwork is represented in the Norwegian Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo.
