Biography
Boulbar got his start on the Parisian scene, before releasing his first self-produced album of the same name in 2005. Although distributed free on the Internet, his songs caught on on national radio stations such as France Inter and Europe 1. Boulbar then tackled the dark, fictional story of Jack Ranieri, a fallen boxer in 1960s America. Requiem pour un Champion was released as a self-production in 2007, before being re-released in 2009 on the Roy Music label. A man of concepts, Boulbar unfolds the story of his road trip from New York to San Francisco on Motor Hotel in 2012.
