Bob Seeley, born Robert Seeley on September 13, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, was an American jazz pianist known for his boogie woogie style. He played piano at Charlie's Crab in Troy, Michigan, a northern suburb of Detroit, for over three decades and gained recognition for his skills. Seeley released five albums and compiled a sixth with Bob Baldori. He performed at Carnegie Hall multiple times and major venues across Europe. Notable collaborations include performances with Meade Lux Lewis, Art Tatum, Eubie Blake, and Sippie Wallace. Seeley also participated in the "Cheek to Cheek Boogie" with Mark Braun and performed annually at The Bloomington Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Festival in Bloomington, Indiana, from 2016 through 2018. He passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 96.
